This is the page where you can see who's behind this website and also find out what makes up POPICAL and the thought behind it. I will try to explain what got me into setting up this web site. You are not going to find anything earth shattering here just a very ordinary attempt at basic site building. But hey the monthly updates keep me occupied and out of trouble. News and photographs of the family help to keep everyone in touch with what?s going on.
First why popical, well I am the father of two children and I get called Pops from time to time, depending on what they want.I shall attempt to keep the site up to date and topical giving them news of happenings here at base as they and other members of the family are now a bit scattered aroundSecondly I'm a retired Tyke but now living with the Lanky's. My interests include, learning how to get the best out of my computer, walking, cycling, sport (watching it) DIY, working with wood, the countryside and nature and of course the grandchildren, Samuel, Laura and Alexander.The interest in the countryside is that I've always been in the country and wouldn't want that to change. Where we live we have a thriving agricultural society and they put on a two day agricultural show every year.I must thank my friends at IDF50 for all the help they have given me in my attempts to get to grips with this website building hobby.
